The PTO is looking for Bancroft staff members who may be interested in helping us run our PTO learning lab program and our PTO run Bancroft play. We need help from staff members in order to make these programs successful. The PTO has funds to pay stipends to staff members who can support these programs.

The learning lab stipend is $3,000 for the year and includes the following responsibilities. This role can be split between two staff members:

  • Being the door opener (2 days a week) for the Fall and Spring session (each run for 7 weeks)
  • Being onsite in the afternoons the first week of labs
  • Booking rooms for learning labs before and after school and creating an office binder sheet with the locations of each class, the names of the kids attending each class, and the instructors name and contact info
  • Sending each Bancroft teacher an email listing which students in their class are taking labs and which labs
  • Coordinating support for any students who need assistance to attend a lab
  • Coordinating with custodians, kidcare, and school staff for building logistics

The Bancroft play stipend is $3,000 and can be split between 2-3 staff directors:

  • This role involves directing the Bancroft play
  • We will have parent volunteers organize the costumes, props, communication with parents, and provide support during rehearsals
  • The play will run over 4 weeks and will meet 3 afternoons a week after school with a daytime and evening performance on the last day
  • The play will take place in January or February

If you are interested in either of these positions, or have any questions, please reach out to us at communications@bancroftpto.org.
