We’re changing things up this year for room parents! Here’s what’s new:
- There will be a limit of two (2) room parents per classroom. You do not have to be a room parent to volunteer in the classroom, these are just the individuals responsible for communicating with the teachers for classroom parties, events, needs, etc.
- We will not have a SignupGenius – instead, your classroom teachers will reach out to you and ask you if you’re interested, and they will be in charge of choosing two parents for their room.
- Teachers will provide us with the names and we will provide a printable insert of all room parents for your Student Directories.
- If you have multiple children, you may only serve as room parent in one of their classrooms. You may volunteer for both, but the school will let you know which one you will work in if selected.
