We are hoping to solicit some volunteers to help maintain the Bancroft garden over the summer.
The current third grade students have planted and labeled the garden. The cafeteria staff will be using the fruits of their labor to the best extent possible in the fall.
The commitment would be watering daily and weeding as needed – no more than 10 or 15 minutes a day for each day. Rainy days could be skipped. Skipping a hot sunny day could be detrimental to the garden. The time during the day can be flexible.
