You can now send your plastic shopping bags to Bancroft to be recycled!

Bancroft alumna, Meghan Johnson, recently installed a plastic bag recycling hamper in the school’s second-floor lobby. The hamper was donated by Stop & Shop and will be serviced by Mrs. Caraviello’s kindergarten class.
Johnson, a senior at Andover High School, conducts recycling seminars with Brad Weeden, chairman of the Bancroft PTO Environmental Committee. “We’ve been telling the kids to return their plastic bags to the grocery store,” said Weeden. “Now we can point to a more convenient option: a miniature transfer station right inside the School.”
