A heartfelt thanks to all the parents who volunteered to help with this important position. We all appreciate the work and creative effort that goes into planning special events in our children’s classrooms throughout the year. It means a lot to the children (and teachers! and parents!) and goes a far way to make the elementary school experience something special!
Also, traditionally room parents in each classroom accept contributions from families to support individual classroom parties throughout the year, as well as provide teachers with gifts during special events (teacher appreciation week and end-of-school for example). This year, many room parents have chosen to request these voluntary contributions via online signup instead of written bank check.
