The 3rd annual Bancroft Heritage Night hosted by the Bancroft PTO Community Awareness Committee
will be held on Thursday November 14 (6:00 – 8:00 PM) in conjunction with the Art Show and Book Fair.
There are many ways to get involved to represent your heritage and culture and we need your help to
make this year another success!
To cultivate the blossoming chef in all of us and in our kiddos, we’re creating a digital cookbook for
families to try making at home some of the favorite dishes available during Heritage Night. The cookbook
will be made available on the Bancroft PTO web site and will be a compilation of recipes of ethnic dishes
and international cuisines from families involved with Heritage Night. If you have a recipe to share, please
send it to communityawareness@bancroftpto.org. Even if you aren’t able to bring an actual dish to
Heritage Night, we’d still like your favorite recipes to include!
We’re also seeking help to provide entertainment during Heritage Night. This can be any form or
entertainment which highlights your heritage, from dancing to singing or playing an instrument. If you’d
like to provide entertainment (or host a table or share an ethnic food dish), click here to Sign Up by
Friday November 8. For questions about Heritage Night, contact communityawareness@bancroftpto.org.
