PTO President Sara Wells has drafted three suggested changes to the Bancroft PTO bylaws:
- removes term limits on Board positions
- adds a Chair of Diversity Awareness to the Board
- adds a Teacher Specialist position to the advisory committee

Per the current PTO Bylaws (Article IX, Amendments), the bylaws “may be amended at any regular or special meeting, provided that notice was given by the amendment sponsor to all members at least one (1) month in advance of said meeting. Amendments shall be approved by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of those present, assuming a quorum. ”
These proposed changes will be discussed and potentially voted for adoption at our next general PTO meeting, Monday, September 21st at 7pm at Bancroft. We hope you will be able to join us!
