It’s the Massachusetts School Library Bookmark Contest!
Help tell the world what a great place our school library is!
The winning bookmarks chosen from Bancroft School will be sent to the Massachusetts School Library Association and entered in the state contest.
Create a bookmark that illustrates this theme:
“Look what I discovered at my SCHOOL LIBRARY!”
Celebrate our school library by designing a bookmark that shows the many activities, lessons, and experiences that you have had here in the Bancroft School Library with Ms. Snow.

Book Marks Must Follow These Rules (or they will not be accepted)
o Design must be drawn on this form.
o The theme must be included on the bookmark
o Use markers, crayons, pencils or pens (gel pens do not copy well).
o All artwork must be original and student created (no character from tv, movies, comic books, etc.)
o Digital art allowed only for grades 4-5: All art must be original!
o Make sure all words and proper names are spelled correctly
• Award ceremony will be at the State House in Boston on April 1, 2015
• Winning school will receive bookmarks for every student in the school
• Winning student artists at the state level will each receive a prize
Bookmarks MUST be returned to Ms. Snow in the Media Center by Tuesday, January 20, 2015.
Late entries will not be accepted!
Bancroft winners will be determined by a committee chosen by Ms. Snow.
The committee will include teachers, students and parents.
The committee’s decision will be final.
Three winners will be chosen from Grades K-1,
Three winners will be chosen from Grades 2-3 and
Three winners will be chosen from Grades 4-5.
All bookmarks entered will be on display in the Bancroft Media Center.
